Direct Deposit is the electronic transfer of funds from your employer or other payer directly to your Dominion account. Direct deposit is also available with Social Security, annuities and pension benefits. It's safer and easier than depositing a paper check!
When you sign up for direct deposit you'll enjoy the following benefits:
- You'll get your paycheck up to 2 days early!* Many companies and government agencies send funds electronically before the "official" payday.
- Access to your funds immediately. Most financial institutions will hold your money, but not Dominion. If you have direct deposit with us and we receive your pay early, we'll make it available to you.
- Your paycheck is deposited automatically into your account - no need to worry about having to deposit a check, especially when you are out sick or on vacation.

Contact your payroll office to sign up for Direct Deposit to your Dominion account.
To start a direct deposit, your payroll office or another payer will ask you to complete a form to authorize the Direct Deposit and give instructions about where to send your payments. The information you will need about Dominion Credit Union is as follows:

Payroll Deduction
The safe, easy and convenient way to save!
If you work for Dominion, you may choose to have part or all of your paycheck deposited directly to your Dominion Credit Union account. You can do payroll deduction with Dominion Credit Union, even if you have money going elsewhere!
To sign up for Payroll Deduction you must have an account at Dominion Credit Union, or apply for one now.
Accepted Deposits
- Your entire paycheck - if your employer offers direct deposit, you can choose to have your pay deposited to your FREE checking account or savings account at Dominion.
- A portion of your paycheck - if you are an employee of Dominion you may choose to have all or part of your pay deposited to your Dominion account.
- Payments from government agencies, retirement benefits and social security.
- Any electronic payments sent electronically through ACH.
